DiscoverGolf summer camps are an invitation to learn. Specifically, to engage in child centered PLAY, as a means to learn! DiscoverGolf camps are research supported, child development programs that blend the science of brain- body- environment cognition, motor learning modalities towards the acquisition of skillful movement; all in symbiosis with PLAY.
DiscoverGolf summer camps use proprietary DG play installations and game formats, woven within a choreographed ” dramatic arc”. These “narratives” are otherwise seen as team-based missions to elicit the positive, story based, emotional backdrop kids need to most effectively learn.
Of course, your child will simply report the FUN, friendships,
success stories and connections made at DG Camps! Our
programs are led expert DG Directors, solely dedicated to
transformative group leaning experiences in tandem with
expertly trained ” game engineers” – young, emotionally
intelligent advocates for purposeful play. Our game engineer
student “pods” are carefully considered – connecting genders-
personalities – temperaments in order to create a fertile
ground for safe, “fail forward” interaction with increasingly
challenging game formats. Importantly these pod ratios are
never more than 4-1.
